Steps After Website Purchase

After you have purchased a Realty2Go website, we have to set it up, configure the server, add your email accounts, set up user names and much more. To start, we first need your domain name and your email address to be used with your Realty2Go website. If you are new and do not know about technical matters, we will help and order a domain name for your website. For the first year, we generously offer FREE domain name (.com or .net), and 6 months FREE website hosting, if you host your Realty2Go website with us. Please note that these free offers can be replaced or removed at any time.

1.- Domain Name

The first step is to order the right domain name for your business. You need to choose a domain with a good keyword, so people can find and remember you, and choose the domain extension (.com, .net, etc.) for your business. We have also nearly 100 domain names on file, to chose from. Once you know the domain name for your business, register it with the domain provider. We can also help you to order and host the domain name for you. If you already have your own domain name, we will need some technical details of the domain account.

2.- Web Hosting

We will need to sign up for a web hosting account so that your website has a home. Getting a web hosting account is comparable to renting office or shop premises for your business. There are many issues involved in finding a good web host. We highly recommend using our partner’s hosting servers in order to avoid the incompatibilities of server and system requirements.

3.- Upload, install and configure your Website

We upload, install and configure your website, install SSL (secure server) and setup and configure email accounts. To show the Google map on your Realty2Go website, you have to provide us with the Google map API key. Step by step instructions to show how to get the map API key for your website are given in the Knowledgebase. Optionally if you ordered the Language Translation add-on for automatic language translation, you have to provide the Google Translation API key.

4.- Website filling

Realty2Go websites are coming with pre-added content, so it is easy for you to edit and replace the pre-added content with your own. We can also remove the example content completely but we think that having real examples, will for sure reduce the learning curve.

5.- Testing Your Website

After most of the before mentioned steps are completed, we will test your website.

6.- Take Over your Website

After we have completely tested your website, we will provide you with the login credentials, so that you can start adding your first property listings, create pages and blog posts and start promoting your business online. You may also get help from our Knowledgebase or from our technical support team.

7.- SEO & Other Tools

We have installed SEO tools for you, to be used for a better ranking on Google.

8.- Submitting Your Website to Google and Bing

It is a good practice to submit your new website to search engines like Google and Bing. This should be done by an SEO professional. Apart from submitting your site to the search engines, you may also consider promoting it by placing advertising with Google Ads, in newspapers, magazines, etc.
